UK Companies to Explore Business Opportunities in Bangladesh (04/11/2009)
A group of UK companies eager to do business in Bangladesh - ranging from perfume distributors to property developers and legal service providers, will arrive in Dhaka on Saturday 7 November for a 4-day visit to Bangladesh.
The visit organised by the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) in co-operation with the British Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce (BBCC) aims to explore the business opportunities on offer in Bangladesh and to further strengthen the trade and investment relationship between the UK and Bangladesh. Kevin Ringham, Director of Trade & Investment said “It is great to welcome the BBCC again to Bangladesh. UK goods and services are held in high esteem and I look forward to a productive visit”.
During the visit, the members of the BBCC team comprising of UK entrepreneurs and investors will meet officials at the British High Commission plus discuss commercial issues of mutual interest with Ministers and business leaders as well as business associations such as the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). The team will also hold several meetings and conferences to further illustrate the opportunities they bring along with them.
