Passport fees are set in sterling in the United Kingdom. Fees are payable in local currency and are therefore liable to change at short notice with exchange rate fluctuations.

Methods of payment

• You can pay by cash, in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT Tk) , at the High Commission in Dhaka.
  
• You can pay by a Bankers Draft or International Money Order. Make it, payable to "British High Commission" the payable amount in the bankers draft has to be in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT Tk). If sending a Bankers draft by mail please send it by Registered Post.

We don't accept fees paid by personal cheque, in British pounds (sterling) or any currency other than Bangladeshi Taka, by credit card or by debit cards.

An official receipt will be issued to all applicants. Postal applications requiring their receipt prior to collection/receipt of passport should enclose a pre-paid (stamped) envelope with their application.
