Passport documents
There is currently a high level of attempted passport fraud across South Asia. To tackle this our specialist fraud prevention teams carry out additional checks and verifications on passport applications.
This means that once we have looked at your application we may ask for a range of additional documents to support your claim and your identity. We apologise for the inconvenience but these measures are necessary to prevent fraud and a range of other offences. Further information is available on passport page.
In Bangladesh the documentation required depends on the type of application being made.
